Week 66 - Each Life that Touches Ours for Good

"Now ye may suppose that this is foolishness in me; but behold I say unto you, that by small and simple things are great things brought to pass; and small means in many instances doth confound the wise," AlmasBog 37:6

Hi everyone! Søster DeLange and I got transferred to Lyngby and now we're serving in a trio with Søster Curtis😊 I'm really excited because Lyngby is the area that I started my mission in, so it will be great to go back and see old friends. The only difference is that this time, we won't be living in the tiny Lyngby apartment, there's not really room for a trio there.

Instead, we're living in Copenhagen! I'm so happy this is like my dream come true! Haha we are in the middle of everything and right next to the temple. It is such a blessing.

One downside though is that we have moved into an old Elder apartment,, and I don't know if these elders value cleanliness as much as søsters do. Either that or they were REALLY busy. Cause this apartment was sooo gross when we got here. We've spent like all pday cleaning it up,,, minus the part we spent on the trains traveling up here.

It was sad to leave Slagelse, I love the people and the area a lot. But it was definitely time for something new. I shared my testimony and talked about how in Slagelse I've really learned how god really does work "by small and simple means," and that its many little miracles that true conversion is made up of. We said goodbye to the members and took some pictures, and then that was that.

The rest of the week was mostly spent meeting with members for a final eating appointment/lesson/etc, passing things over to the elders, and finding. It was a really good week.

We had this one really cool experience when out finding with a member. She stopped a mother who was with her kids, and she couldn't speak Danish or English. So her 12 year old daughter ran up to translate. We ended up teaching a lot about the message of the Restoration of Christ's church through the daughter, and the mom agreed to meet up! It was really cool.
