This One's for the Girls💋
Though this week was bomb for many reasons, I have to say that the most explosive of all of the bomb reasons was Søster Konference. You see, we sister missionaries love the work, oh so much. We love finding, teaching, helping others learn about the Savior, testifying, watching others feel the spirit for the first time, and the list goes on. Being a Sister Missionary is amazing. Wearing your heart outside of your chest for everyone to see is empowering. And honestly the day I take the tag off is gonna be brutal.
But, you see, sister missionaries, are not just sister missionaries. We are also girls. And girls, just wanna have fun ;)
so: we had 🔥Sister Conference🔥
With that we went and toured Copenhagen, where we saw the Kristus statue, visited Nyhavn and the temple! We played some get to know you games *I made a kahoot and had way too much fun with it* and had some awesome trainings about how to contact and knock doors.
Which I thoroughly appreciated, because even though I've been here for 15 months I still have no idea what I am doing. I literally just need the spirit in everything otherwise I am just screwed. Luckily the big G comes in clutch and helps us out whenever we're in a pinch. The trainings are still appreciated though. Plus we all shared success stories and bore our testimonies all over the place so it got way hype.
It was cool because we did a bunch of roleplays, and even though it was all pretend, the spirit was still SO strong whenever a sister testified to the person they were contacting. This stuff is true kids.
After that, we had some delicious Danish dinner, and mingling with the sisters was so fun, I thought to myself, "Man! I feel like a Woman," we then watched the best two years and went to bed. The next day we had some good studies and another AMAZING training about us being clay and God being the Potter. It was awesome and exactly what I think we all needed to hear. We finished with a testimony meeting that was literally so bomb.
Later in the week we had a lesson with my girl, Angeliina. She is doing great! We talked to her about Come Follow Me and she's excited to get started. On sunday she walked to church with a member and didn't even sit with us. 😓😭✋she's graduated! I was so happy.
We also had a Facebook workshop, but, there was a ton of Elders there. And as I said, this ones for the girls, so we're not gonna talk about them. Plus, girls don't like boys. Unless there names rhyme with Len and Terry. But, during our knocking blitz sister DeLange and I were actually able to find someone! He liked hearing our message about the Plan of Salvation and said we could come back anytime!
There was also a man that approached us on the street and asked us about life after death, and asked US if we would be opened to meeting sometime! Uh yeah, I mean, okay, sure🤷♀️ if you want
So if you're wondering if we were spiritually fed this week, the answer is yes😁 but in the ways of the world we received plenty of food as well. We ate at Tina's restaurant and at Mencita's today. Mencita is a member from the Philippines and OH BABY that food is good and I ate so much and suddenly I'm so jealous of my sister's mission.
But yes this is me, telling you all, that I am doing well and I love being a missionary. God lives, he has a plan for you, and you can find answers. But why take my word for it when you can ask the big guy yourself? After all, I'm just a girl on a mission ;)
Davs! Elsker jer!
Mkh, Søster Felt
