Week 41 - Her Life's A Song

Tuesday:
We went to check and see if it service could be offered at our local stables(Shout out to my sister Nicole for the inspiration). We ventured in and wandered sort of helplessly around what we thought to be the main building where we bumped into one of our Old-Lady friends from knitting club! We were like, what? Hi Benda!!!!! She directly us to one of the indoor areas and instructed that we, "speak with Christina" . We followed her directions and made our way through the stables. On the way we passed some of the most magestical looking horses I have ever seen. And like, some of these buddies were so huge. It was insane. After running into some other riders and asking them for help we found the arena, in which we found Christina, mounted on top of a tall, night black, danish warm blood. She said we were welcome to come back on Thursday to volunteer:) on the way out, I said hi to a couple fjords, a bunch of danish warmbloods, a haflinger, some thoroughbreds, and a stocky brabant. (That one was for you Nicole).

Wednesday:
• Lesson with Maj: We stopped by Majs house and had about 20 minutes to talk and visit. Luckily she answered and let us in! We talked about the Holy Ghost and its influence in our lives.
• District Meeting: We talked about what it means to be a successful missionary. It was good!
• KNITTING CLUB! Otherwise known as the reason I get out of bed every morning. Haha jkjk. I was bummed that it was probs my last one (cus I'll mostly likely be moving in a week) but it was still so fun to talk with all of my grandmas. They legit all roasted me because I thought that my one ball of yarn would be enough to make a scarf. Haha they were laughing so hard! I was like c'mon guys I've never knitted before but they showed no mercy.
Later that day when we were out knocking sister Paras used one of my weaknesses as a finding tool. We were in an apartment building and a woman opened her door wearing a "cocio" shirt. Cocio is the chocolate milk here. I am obsessed with Cocio. So anyways sister Paras outed my chocolate milk addiction to this lady as a way to bond with her and try to share the gospel. I would be mad if it didnt work so well. She ended up laughing with sister Paras so hard at me and my red face that we had a good chat. You know I am cool with it, we all have to make sacrifices to bring about good causes.

Thursday: Boommmbbb day! Started it out at the riding school where we painted stalls and dusted judging booths. It was super fun and sister Paras was happy to be around horses. I liked how it smelled there, reminded me of home!🤣 #allswellinwellsville

We also had a lesson with our new friend Rebecca. We found her phone number in the apartment and decided to try and give her a call-welp she wanted to meet up and we talked about the church and what she has learned about it! She was really excited, at the end, she said that if she felt it was true she would be baptized! She has committed to setting finding an answer as a priority in her life right now. Keep her in your prayers!
After that we went out finding with a really sweet member, Andreia. She is from Portugal, doesn't speak Danish, and knows little English. So we played a lot of charades!! Haha we were happy to get her out with us and she was sure happy about it too. Finding with the members is the best.
We also had institute that night, where we talked about the importance of studying the scriptures, it was a great night:)

Friday: Mostly finding, went well! Met some kind people and maybe future friends. We also went around to local hospitals and tried to get our names listed as "clergy" for people to call in times of crisis. We just got a lot of hard no´s. So we asked if we could just leave our cards,,, more hard nos. Oh well, at least we tried!

Saturday: Splits with Søster Webb! It was super chill and way fun to go finding with her again.

Sunday: I spoke in church! It was great! I talked about choosing acting in Faith rather than acting out of fear. I wore a cute new dress and my Danish grandmas hyped me up and made me feel like a model.

We had a really great contact today and gave out a Book of Mormon with it! It feels so good to testify of what you know to be true and to do all you can to help others learn about Jesus Christ and true happiness. I am so happy to be here!

I må ha en dejlig uge ya hear. Elsker jer.

Med Kærlige Hilsen,

Søster Felt
