Week 38 - Don't Forget to Remember Me

Halløj, I just finished frolicking through the woods.

On Tuesday søster Paras and I felt that we should go knock on Victoria's (the girl that we met on Christmas eve) door and see how she was doing. She was surprised to see us, saying, "The last time I was going through a difficult day like today was the day I first met you both," she let us in and we talked a bit and made an appointment for Thursday 😊

Thursday was just straight up bomb considering we had our lesson with Katja and with Victoria. The spirit was SO STRONG during both. They were both so humble and willing to listen. My favorite part was definitely hearing Victoria offer her first prayer at the end of our lesson. Makes me so happy.

Wednesday we had Zone Konferance, it's always fun to see old friends there and support each other.

Other than that, I guess you could say our week wasn't too eventful or exciting. Just like most other weeks. Which leaves a lot of room and time for us to either become discouraged or to make a conscious effort to better ourselves. I've thought a lot about the different goals I can set and how I can constantly be working to become better on my mission and in my life. In my studies of this, I came across a story, here's my recap-

There once walked a man with a camera, photographing flora and fauna down a winding path.

As he enjoyed the beauties around him, he stumbled upon a garden. The garden bloomed with exotic flowers of an array of varieties and colors. He excitedly pointed the camera through the iron fence guarding the greenery. Setting the focus on some bright yellow blooms, he startled when the perfect image was interrupted by a gloved hand.

The man looked up from the camera to see a gardener who greeted him with a smile.

"Are you the caretaker here?" The man asked.
"I am," said the gardener with a humble nod.
"You're garden is beautiful!" exclaimed the photographer, "I have never seen anything like this!"
"Thank you," replied the gardener, "Would you like to come in and see the rest?"

The man hastely accepted and hurried in as the gardener held the gate open.

They walked together along the grounds admiring trees, shrubs, and hedges, all kept in perfect order. As they went the man beheld that the garden stretched and wrapped around a spectacular mansion, fit for a king.

"Wow," he gasped, "How many workers does it take to take care of this place?"
"Oh it's just me," the gardener replied.
"Just you? Why it's so big! Don't you every get overwhelmed?" Exclaimed the man.
"Sometimes," the gardener began, "But when the owner comes to visit, and I see him smile down from the balcony, it makes it all worth it,"
The man was shocked, "Visit?" He asked, "You mean the owner doesn't live here?"
"No, but he visits from time to time," the gardener said, pulling weeds he noticed creeping around the end of the path.
"And you don't even know when he's coming?" Asked the man, still puzzled.
"Not usually," the gardener answered.
"That's insane!" The man didn't even know what to say.
"By the looks of this garden, I'd think you were expecting him tomorrow."
The gardener smiled.
"No," he whispered, "I'm expecting him today,"

Now we don't know when Christ will come, but we do know that he is coming. Maybe it will be in a hundred years, maybe in a couple of months, maybe even in a few weeks. Either way, the best way to prepare for the Saviors coming tomorrow, is to be prepared today.

Elsk jer🐐

Med Kærlige Hilsen,

Søster Felt🇩🇰
