On the real though this week Søster Webb and I had soooooo many good conversations and spiritual experiences with different people we met on the street. Most of them didn't result in much more than just a promise that they would try and pray, but step by step am I right?
Funny story,, We stopped this couple on the street. They looked pretty hard core, lots of tattoos and piercings and they had matching mohawks #nice. So when we stopped them they whipped out their necklaces with Thor's hammer on them.
Søster webb and I asked them all about their faith and they explained a lot about the viking gods and why they believe in them and where excited to relate it to our faith.
We explained a little about what we believe in and they were way positive. Then the husband said, "it's so great what you guys are doing, spreading a good message like this, there is so much weird stuff out there, like ugh for example the MoRmOnS! Have you ever heard of them??? They are the worst! I lived in Colorado for a while and my friends told me......"
And we just let him keep going because we could not. Stop. Laughing. So Anyways he was going off on some tangent about how "Joseph Smith looked in a hat and wrote a book and what the heck is with that?" While we were laughing super hard and his wife was like , "Sweetie,, ugh sweetie, grabbing his arm," and Søster webb (while laughing) raised her hand. He was like "uh what?". And we were still laughing and his wife said, "THEY'RE mormons sweetie," he was like NO way really. And we were just laughing ttooooo hard all we could do was take out a Book of Mormkn and show him. Lol his eyes got so huge. So funny. He was really willing to listen after that. We cleared up all the rumors and assured him that we in fact dont believe in aliens or have multiple wives and he and his wife said they would read Mormons Bog so you know what were gonna call that a success. Lol I love Danish people.
